Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mollah Nazrul Islam said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the arrest of actress Mahia Mahi's husband, Rakib Sarkar, the accused in two cases under the Digital Security Act.
He told The Report.Live at around 5:45 pm on Sunday (March, 19), “No decision has been taken yet on the arrest of Rakib. So, I don't want to talk about it. Decision will be informed later .”
Mahiya Mahi's husband Rakib Sarkar arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) International Airport in Dhaka from Saudi Arabia on Sunday morning after performing Umrah. Later he went straight from the airport to his home in Gazipur.
Mahi received her husband from the airport with a flower bouqet and posted a picture with her husband in Facebook.
Mahi and Rakib Sarkar were supposed to return to country together from Saudi Arabia yesterday, but Rakib did not come. However, it is not known where Rakib and Mahi are now after returning in country today.
