A case has been filed over the massive explosion that rocked Dhaka’s Moghbazar Wireless Gate area on Sunday evening.
Police filed the case with Ramna police station in allegation of death by negligence at around 10:30 am Tuesday (June 29). The case number is 30.
Harunur Rashid, additional deputy commissioner of Ramna Zone od Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter to The Report.
Allegations of death by negligence have been brought in the lawsuit. Anonymous persons are accused in the case, he said.
Seven people, including a woman and a child, were killed and more than 60 others injured in the blast that took place at the building on Outer Circular Road on Sunday (June 27).
17 victims, who sustained burn injury, are undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina burn institutes. Alongside other injured are given medical facilities at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and several other private hospitals.
