The heat wave sweeping over the country has intensified. While May is supposed to be relatively less hot than April, the hottest month, the opposite is true. Yesterday, Dhaka's temperature reached a 34-year record for the month of May. Dhaka's maximum temperature yesterday was 39.4 degrees Celsius. However, today, the temperature of Dhaka exceeded that record in 34 years and recorded 39.8 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the entire Dhaka is sweltering in intense heat. Although the temperature did not break the record 40 degrees, it felt more than 45 degrees Celsius. Along with this, Dhaka's traffic jam, dust, load shedding has increased the suffering of heat. The weather department could not provide any information about rain.
However, the apparent low pressure of the ocean can turn into a low pressure and develop into a cyclone. Due to its effect, rain can be seen after two-three days.
