President Abdul Hamid has accepted the resignation letter of Dr. Murad Hasan to step down from the role of State Minister for Information and Broadcasting.
After the president's acceptance of the letter, a formal notification has also been issued in this regard.
Consequently, Dr. Murad Hasan has been officially relieved off his duties as state minister starting tonight.
The notification was issued from the cabinet division on Tuesday (December 7). Earlier today, Murad Hasan submitted his resignation letter to the cabinet division.
The notification, signed by Md. Kamal Hossain, Secretary (Coordination and Reform) of the Cabinet Secretary mentioned that: The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Murad Hasan's resignation letter has been accepted by the President. This resignation will be effective immediately.
