GM Quader, Chairman of the Jatiya Party, withdrew his nomination from the Dhaka-17 constituency today.
The withdrawal letter was handed to Returning Officer Sabirul Islam by MA Razzak Khan, the office secretary of the Jatiya Party.
Quader is also the Jatiya Party nominee from Rangpur-3.
Today is the deadline to withdraw from the January 7 national election.
