A fire broke out in a jhut (unused fabric of garment factories) warehouse in Gazipur’s Konabari early on Monday. It was completely put out within two hours.
However, there were no immediate reports of casualties.
According to the fire service, four units rushed to the spot at Ambagh around 5:08 am before they brought the blaze under control at 6:50 pm.
The cause of the fire and the extent of losses could not be ascertained immediately.
