UP Elections: 5th phase to be held across 707 unions

Schedule for the fifth phase of the Union Parishad election has been announced. The disclosure came from the  Election Commission (EC) office on Saturday (November 27) at around 1:00 pm

Elections for the fifth phase of the ongoing Union Parishad (UP) elections will be held on January 5, 2022. In this phase, elections will be held in 707 UPs. 

According to the notice, the last date for submission of nominations for the fifth phase of UP elections is December 7. The selection process will end two days later. 

Fianlly, polls in these union councils will be held on January 5, 2022.
