The final decision on reopening the educational institution will be taken this afternoon. To this end, an inter-ministerial meeting will be held on Sunday (September 5) at 3 pm.
The state ministers for education, agriculture, information and broadcasting, health, sports, primary and mass education and the deputy minister for education are expected to take part in it.
Earlier, it was informed that today's (September 5) meeting will be the final decision on the management of educational institutions.
The meeting may also decide to move ahead with the reopening of the university after October 15.
A number of issues will also be decided, including finalising the plan, ensuring hygiene and expediting the completion of SSC-HSC equivalent examinations to overcome the long-term losses after the reopening of the educational institution.
Meanwhile, at a ceremony in Chandpur on September 3, the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni announced the simultaneous opening of primary, secondary and higher secondary educational institutions across the country from September 12. Then on an occasion in Chattogram on September 4, Deputy Minister of Education Barrister Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel was present.
Six secretaries and other concerned officials will join the meeting in the afternoon.
