41st BCS exam: Appeal hearing at 2 pm

The hearing on the postponement of the 41st BCS exam to be held at 2 pm today, said the high court appeal unit.

Simultaneously, another group of candidates are going to the PSC to make their agenda herd. They further emphasized that they will not return until a decision has been made by the PSC.

A record number of candidates are going to participate in the 41st BCS Preliminary Examination which will be held on Friday following the health rules. This number is 4 lakh 75 thousand. Public Service Commission (SC) sources said that if a candidate has a high temperature in one of the centres, he has been instructed to take another test.

Last Tuesday, the 41st BCS of PSC issued a number of guidelines for the management of the centre. The guidelines state that adequate lighting and ventilation should be ensured during each test. Examiners should arrange for hand washing or sanitiser outside the examination hall. The test hall must have a non-contact infrared thermometer to measure body temperature at the time of entry. There should be a disinfectant system in each test room and control room.
