Watch: Zayed Khan’s fake photo with Salman Khan goes viral

Zayed Khan, a Dhallywood actor and general secretary of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association, has recently come under fire for forging his own photo with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The actor shared the photoshopped photo on his verified Facebook profile on March 23, 2011.

In the photo, Salman is seen being escorted by Bangladeshi police officials and Zayed Khan can also be seen in the crowd.

The fake photo has been resurfaced on social media by a post in the Bangladeshi film enthusiast group called ‘Bangladesh Chalachitra Jagat’ on Sunday (August 15). A group member pointed out that the old photo of Salman and Zayed is clearly manipulated.
The post instantly went viral and Bangladeshi netizens started sharing his fake post and trolling the actor.

Netizens have also pointed out that this is an image of Salman during his performance at the 'Tri-Nation Big Show' held in Dhaka back in 2011. The t-shirt Salman was wearing during that show held in Bangabandhu National Stadium is the same one seen in Zayed’s post.

Nine years ago, a fan in the same photo’s comment section asked whether Zayed took this photo with Salman in that program. He even replied in the affirmative.

Neither Zayed nor Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association has made any comments regarding this photo at the time of writing this report.

Zayed Khan made his big-screen debut with 2006 film ‘Bhalobasha Bhalobasha’ opposite popular Dhallywood actors Riaz and Shabnur.

He recently made headlines for his actions on behalf of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association which suspended Pori Moni's membership for her ongoing investigation in a narcotic case. Dhallywood superstar and former president of BFAA Shakib Khan also condemned such actions of the body and asked why they did not come to the aid of the artist during her time of crisis.
