Rohingya leader shot dead in Ukhiya camp

Rohingya community leader Noor Hossain alias Bhutto (42) was killed by miscreants in the Ukhiya shelter camp of Cox‍‍`s Bazar.

The incident took place at D/9 Block of Kutupalong Camp-2 East in Ukhia around 10 pm yesterday. 

Deceased Nur Hossain Bhutto (42) is the son of Abdus Shukkur of D/9 Camp of Kutupalong Camp-2 East. He served as a sub-commissioner of that camp.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station Sheikh Mohammad Ali said that on Saturday night, a terrorist group of 10-12 people shot Noor Hussain Bhutto with three/four rounds and escaped. He was shot in the head. Later he was rescued and taken to Kutupalong MSF Hospital where he died.
