On Tuesday morning, Motijheel and its adjacent areas witnessed a huge traffic jam as workers of a RMG factory blocked the roads protesting relocation of their factory to Keraniganj.
The authority of Olio Apparels Ltd has relocated the factory from North Kamalapur area to Keraniganj without any prior notice, according to the workers.
Witnesses claim that about 8:15 am, hundreds of "Olio Apparel Limited" employees took to the streets.
Around 1 pm workers were seen moving from Kamalapur point to Al Helal crossing area near Notore Dam College.
However, police have been seen to ease traffic jam and vehicles started moving near Shapla Chattar area in Motijheel around 1 pm.
