Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun has said police and other law enforcing agencies will resist any arson violence and sabotage in the country.
The IGP warned this at a gathering against drugs and militancy in Rajshahi as the chief guest on Wednesday.
“Freedom fighters sacrificed their lives selflessly for the freedom of our country. If anyone tries to bring the terrible days of the arson violence again and wants to make country instable in the name of movement, we will resist them”, he said.
“We are alert so that none can resort to such incidents anymore in future,” he said.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police and Rajshahi City Community Policing Forum organized the rally at the Shaheed Mamun Mahmood Police Lines School and College ground.
