Narendra Modi sends Eid-Ul- Fitr wishes to Bangladesh including PM Sheikh Hasina

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, wished peace, harmony, good health and happy life to the people of the two countries and the people of the world along with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This greeting was conveyed in a letter signed by the Prime Minister of India.

In the letter, he wrote - "On behalf of the people of India, I wish you and the people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh a very happy Eid-ul-Fitr."

He mentioned that Muslims around the world, including India, fasted and prayed during the holy month of Ramadan. On this auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Muslim Ummah and the people of the world are embracing the values of unity and brotherhood.

Narendra Modi praised and said that due to the personal initiative of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the multifaceted bilateral relationship of the two countries has been transformed into a role model of neighborly relations in the world.

He added that he wishes to take the relationship between the two countries to new heights by keeping up the partnership with Sheikh Hasina.
