At least two people were killed and two others injured in a fire at a fuel filling station at Mahishadora under Bheramara upazila in Kushtia on Friday evening, reports the New Age.
The deceased ones Sajul and Rajib were staff of the filling station while the injured ones are Rimon and Rajib, said Bheramara police station inspector (investigation) Md Nannu Khan.
Of the injured ones, Rajib is a class X student and the other one is aged above 20, he said.
He said that the fire occurred at Dafadar Filling Station at about 8:00pm and a team of fire service from Bheramara rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
