State Minister of Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that Bangladesh is not bankrupt even during the challenging times of the global economic situation.
“BNP wanted to make Bangladesh like Sri Lanka. BNP's friend Pakistan is bankrupt today. It is Pakistan's defense minister who said, Pakistan is bankrupt,” Khalid said.
“After hearing about Pakistan’s bankruptcy, Mirza Fakhrul, BNP secretary general goes to the hospital. Where else to go but the hospital as a big friendly state went bankrupt?”
State minister remarked that BNP wanted to make Bangladesh sick as well as bankrupt.
Khalid came up with these remarks on Wednesday while inaugurating the newly constructed academic building of Mangalpur Senior Alim Madrasa at Birol upazila of Dinajpur district.
