Nepal was shaken by two earthquakes in one night. Nepal`s National Center for Seismology (NCS) said the epicenter of the earthquake was in Dhurkot, Bajura. Initially, no loss of life or damage was reported in this earthquake. These two earthquakes were felt yesterday.
The depth of the earthquake was 10 km from the surface. The NCS said the first quake struck at 11:43 pm local time and the second at 1:15 pm local time yesterday.
However, officials at the Seismological Center in Nepal`s Surkhet district, Rajesh Sharma, told Indian news agency ANI that the first quake had a magnitude of 4.9. And the magnitude of the second earthquake was 5.9.
