A 5.4 magnitude earthquake was felt across the country at around 6:45pm today.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicentre of the earthquake was about 24 kilometers south of Goalpara in India`s Assam, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The earthquake was also felt in Bhutan apart from Bangladesh and India.
No damage or casualty was reported till now.
