Temperature hits 37.5°C in Chuadanga amid heatwave

The highest temperature in the country was recorded in Western District Chuadanga at 37.5 degrees Celsius. The temperature is expected to rise further across the country in the next three days. There is no sign of rain in the weather forecast. At the end of Chaitra, the heat has started rising in the country, which indicates a slight increase in the weather forecast.

Chuadanga recorded a maximum temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius on Friday, according to the Meteorological Office, adding that mild heat wave is sweeping over 14 districts, including 10 districts of Khulna division. It may also spread to other parts of the country in the next few days.

For this reason, the current temperature may increase further in the next three days, according to the 24-hour forecast. However, there is also a possibility of rain in some places including Sylhet. In the last 24 hours, only Sandwip and Chandpur recorded slight rainfall.

Meteorologist, According to a press release signed by Omar Faruk, the minimum temperature on Friday was 19 degrees Celsius in Rangamati. The maximum temperature in Dhaka was 35.8 degrees Celsius.

At present, a mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division, including Rajshahi, Pabna, Faridpur and Manikganj districts, and the day and night temperatures are likely to rise slightly over the country.

According to the forecast, the weather is likely to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky, but rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division.

In a 'synoptic' condition of the weather, it has been said that the extension of the low pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas. The normal low pressure of the season is over the South Bay.
