A team of Cyber Crime Investigation Division of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of police has arrested six suspected members of Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI).
The arrestees are Md Fakhrul Islam, Md Saiful Islam, Md Suruzzaman, Hafez Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Md Din Islam and Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun.
Md Asaduzzaman, CTTC chief and additional police super, at a press conference on Saturday, said Md Fakhrul Islam were trying to reorganize HuJI and were planning attacks on different programmes.
Fakhrul Islam received military trainings in Afghanistan and Pakistan, he also said.
