Severe storm expected in 19 districts; warning signal number 1 in river ports

Strong intensity winds of 45 to 60 km/h can blow from the west or north-west in 19 districts of the country, including the capital Dhaka. Rain or thundershowers are expected. As a result, river ports have been instructed to show warning signal number 1.

The weather forecast published on the website of the Meteorological Department that over Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Faridpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet regions 45-60 km/h from West/Northwest direction rain/thundershower with gusty winds at times is predictable. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1. 

However, after this period the tendency of rainfall may decrease. Also the temperature may increase. After that, a low pressure may be formed in the sea. It is said that the temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius in the whole country at this time.
