The National Moon Sighting Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday (March, 22) after Maghrib prayers in the conference hall of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque to decide when the holy month of Ramadan will begin.
The conference will be presided over by State Minister for Religious Affairs, Mohammad Faridul Haque Khan, said a press release.
Islamic Foundation has requested to contact or fax the District Magistrate or the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the appropriate district at the numbers below if they spot the moon of the holy month of Ramadan anywhere in Bangladesh's sky.
