Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh on Thursday said after effective implementation of National Payment Gateway, people will be able to pay trade license fee through online soon.
He also proposed that a seven-day long camp can be organised at Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) office so that the members of the Chamber could especially avail the facilities of trade license renewal from it.
The Mayor said till June 2022, DSCC earned Taka 879 crore without increasing any tax. For creating a business and investment friendly environment, the Corporation would make Dhaka a smart city, he added.
Taposh said this when the Board of Directors of DCCI, led by its President Barrister Md. Sameer Sattar, called on him at Nagar Bhaban in the capital today, said a DCCI press release here.
The DSCC Mayor also informed that they would take an initiative to establish IoT based traffic signal system in the city to avoid traffic congestion.
