BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi demanded the arrest and trial of Dr Murad Hasan who has stepped down as state minister for Information and Broadcast.
Rizvi pressed the demand while briefing reporters at Nayapaltan in the capital on Tuesday (December 7).
“Murad Hasan resigned from his post following directives of the prime minister, we saw int. Now, he must be tried, arrested,” Rizvi said.
“Murad must be declared ineligible of doing politics due to the defamatory remarks he made. He must be removed from all positions he holds,” added he.
