More than 24 thousand pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia

24 thousand 132 pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia till Saturday night to perform Hajj. Among them, 4 thousand 564 pilgrims are of government management and 19 thousand 568 pilgrims are of private management. This information was released on Sunday from the Hajj portal of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

It was reported in the Hajj bulletin that the additional secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Hajj) and the team leader of the administrative team met in the conference room of the office in Makkah on Saturday. A regular coordination meeting of the Hajj administrative team was held under the chairmanship of Motiul Islam. Councilor (Hajj)  Md. Zahirul Islam, members of administrative team, team leader of medical team and team leader of IT team and other members were present at the meeting.

The Holy Hajj will be held on June 27 (9 Zilhaj) this year subject to moon sighting. This time the quota could not be filled due to the high cost of Hajj. Three and a half thousand pilgrims were needed to fulfill the quota.
