Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC)'s newly elected mayor Selina Hayat Ivy took oath on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina administered the oath as she was sworn in as mayor for the third consecutive term.
The PM joined the swearing-in ceremony from her residence, Ganobhaban at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium.
The newly elected councilors of NCC were later sworn in.
Awami League nominated candidate Ivy won the Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election on January 16 with 1 lakh 61 thousand 273 votes.
