The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock has taken the initiative to sell milk, eggs and meat at affordable prices at 20 places in the capital from 1st Ramadan to 28th Ramadan. Beef will be sold at Tk 640 per kg, goat meat at Tk 940 per kg, dressed broiler at Tk 340 per kg, milk at Tk 80 per liter and eggs at Tk 10 each.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister, SM Rezaul Karim will inaugurate this program on Thursday (March, 23) afternoon at the premises of the Department of Livestock.
The sale will continue in the following areas-
Abdul Gani Road, Khamarbari, Mohammadpur's Japan Garden City, Mirpur 60 Feet Road, Azimpur Matrisadan, Old Dhaka's Nayabazar, Arambagh, Natun bazar, Mirpur's Kalshi, Khilgaon Railgate, Nakhalpara's Lukas Mor, Segunbagicha bazar, Basila, Uttara's Diabari, Jatrabari, Gabtali, Hazaribagh, Karail slum of Banani, Kamrangichar and Rampura.
