The government has set the work schedules for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous institutions for the holy month of Ramadan. Daily hours of operation for the offices are 9 am to 3:30 pm.
On Monday (March 13) this decision was taken at the cabinet meeting chaired by Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister's Office.
Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain informed the media after the meeting that office hours for the month of Ramadan have been set from Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
He also said that there will be a 15-minute break for Zohar prayers from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm.
