Fire at Mugda hospital in Dhaka injures 10

A fire broke out at Mugda Medical College Hospital in the capital. Prima facie, it seems the explosion took place in the ICU of the hospital. Gradually, the fire spread to different places of the hospital. 

The fire was brought under control on Thursday (October 21) at around 12:30 pm

Nazma Akhter, duty officer at the fire service and civil defense headquarters, told TheReport.live that the fire was brought under control around 1:00 PM. However, the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.

So far, 10 people have been injured in the blast. No fatalities have been reported yet. The injured have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College.
