Suepended office-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station, Pradeep Kumar Das, and his colleague Liaqat Ali, who were recently sentenced to death for killing Maj (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan, are now at Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur.
They were taken there in a prison van under tight security on Wednesday night, reports The Daily Star citing Senior Prison Superintendent Gias Uddin.
A Cox's Bazar court on January 31 handed them death penalty. After the verdict was announced, they were taken to Cox's Bazar Jail. From there they were transferred to Chattogram Central Jail on February 5.
