Dry weather likely across the country

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office release on Tuesday.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during late night to morning, said the weather forecast issued for 24 hours this morning.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may rise slightly over the country. 

Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 30.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature today was recorded 10.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00am was recorded 10 millimetres (mm) at Rajarhat.

Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
