Taylor Swift's 'Midnights' album crashes Spotify

Music streaming service Spotify experienced a system crash on Taylor Swift's 10th album "Midnights’ release. The crash happened after the releasing process. The album marking a gradual return for the US singer-songwriter, sparked an online fan craze following its witching hour release on Friday.

Swift fans were outraged. At midnight on Friday, Eastern time, Spotify encountered this glitch.

After the news of the album release crashed, fans instantly went to Twitter and posted about the issue.

"Did Taylor Swift break Spotify??? #MidnightsTaylorSwift" one fan tweeted.

 

The album includes 13 songs which tell "the story of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life," Swift explained on her official Twitter account.

 

Within an hour all Spotify issues were resolved. Fan discovered melodies set to an electro-pop beat, complete with synths, dubstep-inspired rhythms and a more androgynous side to Swift's vocals.
